Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is releasing a spring-only doughnut called “Muchi Mochi Sakura” from Monday, March 1, 2021 until the end of April.

“Muchi Mochi Doughnuts, a popular series of doughnuts with an appealing “chewy” texture, now comes in a spring-only flavor inspired by cherry blossoms in full bloom. The Muchi-Mochi Doughnuts are coated with sweet and sour Sakura sauce and filled with cherry blossom colored Sakura milk cream for a gorgeous visual.
*Muchi-Mochi means Chewy
The top surface is decorated with a double layer of cherry blossom shaped chocolate and pure white powdered sugar, reminiscent of “Hanabuki”. When you put it in your mouth, the aroma of cherry blossoms will softly spread, giving it a full-bodied spring flavor.
