The Japanese chef, Ryuji, has shared some of the easiest but most delicious recipes that have been buzzed about so far, and I’d like to share them with you here! It would be great if you could enrich your time at home with delicious food!
Frozen Fried Chicken Namban
5 pieces (about 100g) of frozen karaage
2 tablespoons ponzu (ponzu)
1/2 tablespoon of sugar
1 hard-boiled egg
2 and 1/2 tablespoons mayonnaise
A pinch of salt and pepper
1 slice of lettuce
a dash of parsley (if available)
① Shell the hard-boiled eggs, cut into small pieces, and toss with the mayonnaise, salt and pepper.
② Warm and thaw the frozen karaage with the time setting as indicated on the product. Make a sweet and sour sauce with ponzu and sugar in a frying pan, throw in the karaage and toss it into the sauce.
③ Top the rice with lettuce, (1) and (2), and sprinkle parsley on top.
If you don’t want to serve it in a bowl, you can eat it with rice on the side.
