LAWSON has been developing a series of cream puffs, eclairs, puddings, and other items in its “Nama-Custard” series that “pursue the deliciousness of custard. The fifth in the series, a new “Raw Custard Cake that tastes like pudding,” has finally gone on sale.
“Fresh Custard Cake” with custard cream “just like pudding”
The top of the custard mousse is topped with a bittersweet caramel sauce, giving it a pudding-like appearance. The mousse is covered with sponge dough, and inside the mousse is a melt-in-your-mouth custard cream.
The custard mousse is made with eggs from birds raised on a diet of fishmeal and marigolds. The yellow yolk is a characteristic of this product, and the richness and sweetness of the egg can be felt.
