J.S. Pancake Cafe, an all-time pancake store, has introduced a limited menu “Green Tea Strawberry Daifuku Pancakes” to celebrate the start of the New Year. The menu will be available only for a limited time from December 28, 2022 (Wed) to January 31, 2023 (Tue).
J.S. Pancake Cafe New Year’s Limited Edition “Matcha Strawberry Daifuku Pancakes
J.S. Pancake Cafe offers a variety of limited edition pancakes to coincide with seasonal events and seasonal ingredients. The “Matcha Strawberry Daifuku Pancake,” which joins the menu lineup to celebrate the beginning of a new year, is a New Year’s-only pancake made with an abundance of “Nishio matcha” green tea produced in Aichi Prefecture.
Matcha Mascarpone Cream with Azuki Sauce
The pancakes are topped with Nishio green tea mascarpone cream, sweet bean paste, strawberries, and whipped cream. To finish the pancake, a sticky gyuhi (a type of rice cake) is placed on top and topped with azuki bean sauce, completing the sweet and sour strawberry daifuku-like green tea pancake.
In addition, the “Strawberry Matcha and Azuki Sauce Pancake Sundae,” a mini-sized sundae layered with fresh strawberries and matcha mascarpone, and the “Matcha Latte,” which offers the elegant aroma and richness of Nishio matcha tea, will also be available during this limited time.
