Winter Illumination Event “Amusement Park of Light” will be held at Hirakata Park in Osaka. The event will run from Saturday, November 7, 2020 to Sunday, February 28, 2021.
Amusement Park of Light
Hirakata Park’s popular illuminated event “Amusement Park of Light” will be held again in 2020. The theme of this year’s event is “Mysterious Magic Night” and the production will provide a mysterious and fantastic experience as if under the spell of light.
The main area will continue to include the Mysterious Magic Street, Lantern Carnival Square, Garden of Light, and Time Travel Tunnel in the main area, as it did during the 2019 event. In the “Mysterias Magic Street”, the symbolic tree will be the centerpiece of a magical atmosphere with colorful lights illuminated from pillars of light. This year’s special program show is also planned to be held.
The Lantern Carnival Square, which is enveloped in the warm glow of approximately 500 lanterns floating in the sky above, is the perfect spot for photos. The colorful light show, which seems to dance around in the air, is a must-see.
Don’t miss the Time Travel Tunnel, a 50-meter-long light tunnel that appears to change color depending on the direction you look at it. Mysterious light and sound effects as if you were lost in a mysterious time and space, and the lanterns hanging from the ceiling depict a beautiful landscape.
The Candle Night Garden will be a new spot for the event. The “Temple of Light” is based on the motif of a large candle, and “Private Seats” will be set up where visitors can enjoy their meals in tents surrounded by candles, creating an extraordinary space. A “Christmas Food Carnival” will be held around the area until December 25 (Friday), where you can taste limited edition food.
