Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has introduced “Krispy Kreme Premium Hokkaido Shimaenaga Green Tea & Adzuki Bean Sprouts” featuring Hokkaido’s native wild bird, the Shimaenaga. It will be sold at four stores in Hokkaido from January 11 (Wed.) to March 31 (Fri.), 2023.

Hokkaido’s limited-edition doughnuts with the “snow fairy” striped eagle’s face
The “Krispy Kreme Premium Hokkaido” series of limited-edition doughnuts developed with a focus on Hokkaido’s specialties and culture has introduced a limited menu item starring the “striped hyena,” a wild bird native to Hokkaido. The “snow fairy” is represented by Hokkaido’s milk cream and chocolate, and has an adorable appearance.
The base of the doughnut is made of cake batter kneaded with stone-ground Uji green tea. The doughnut is then filled with a rich red bean paste made from Hokkaido azuki beans, and sprinkled with powdered sugar to create a beautiful snowy landscape in Hokkaido. It is recommended as a small souvenir.
