The second menu item from the collaboration between pancake specialty store Butter and the anime “Evangelion” will be available at Butter Abeno Hoop (Osaka), LaLaport Yokohama (Kanagawa Prefecture), and LaLaport Koshien (Hyogo Prefecture) until July 31 (Sunday), 2022.
Pancake Specialty Butter x “Evangelion” Vol. 2
The second collaboration between the pancake specialty restaurant Butter and the popular animation “Evangelion,” which was well received in the first round, is now available. Each store will offer a different lineup of pancakes and drinks to enjoy the world of “Evangelion”.
Exclusive to Abeno Hoop and Lalaport Yokohama
The featured menu item at the Abeno Hoop and LaLaport Yokohama stores is the “Shinji Ikari and Kaworu Nagisa Planet Pancake. The fluffy soufflé pancakes are made with a combination of several kinds of cheese and topped with sphere-shaped chocolate that resembles a planet. Inside the pancake are monaka with Shinji and Kaworu, creating a striking visual impact.
Also noteworthy is the “Makinami Mari Illustrious’ Operation Paris Pancake,” inspired by Mari’s Operation Paris. The pancake, with its gentle texture, is topped with cookies in the shape of the Eiffel Tower and decorations of the Arc de Triomphe to express the world of the Eiffel Tower. The sweet and sour strawberries, grapefruit, and berries served on the plate give it a fresh taste.
Exclusive to Lalaport Koshien
Kaji Farm’s Watermelon Pancakes at Lalaport Koshien have a unique visual appeal, with a watermelon-shaped chocolate on top of the soufflé pancake. The chocolate is filled with refreshing watermelon jelly, allowing customers to enjoy the harmony of the sweet pancake and the refreshing jelly.
The menu also includes “Ayanami Rei White Tower Soufflé Pancakes” featuring the popular “White Tower” in the Ayanami Rei style, as well as the “Third Village Eggs Benedict”, a pancake with eggs Benedict inspired by the Third Village.

Character latte art drinks from “Evangelion” will also be available at all stores. This drink is a must-have for fans, with popular characters such as Shinji Ikari and Shikinami Asuka Langley drawn on top of the cream. During the period, orders of each collaboration menu item will also receive a total of five types of coasters & original can badges.
Collaboration menu at Cafe Chez MADU Koshigaya Laketown
Cafe Chez MADU Koshigaya Laketown, a Butter Group store, will also offer a limited menu in collaboration with Evangelion from June 22 (Wed) to August 31 (Wed). Afternoon tea sets and bread with Ayanami Rei and Asuka motifs will be available for take-out.
