Kaiyukan, an aquarium in Osaka, will hold a nighttime event, “Kaiyukan after Closing: The Sea of Tranquility, Filling the Heart,” from February 14 (Mon.) to February 27 (Sun.), 2022. This will be a reservation-only event.
Adult evening event at the “aquarium after closing time
Kaiyukan will hold a limited time event in the quiet aquarium after it closes, opening only at night from 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and 6:30 p.m. on weekends. With the lights dimmed, the aquarium becomes a more mature space than during the daytime, and with the background music turned off, visitors can take a closer look at the marine life in this silent world.
A limited drink option is also available for those who wish to spend more time with adults. Participation is limited to either one adult over 16 years old or two people over 40 years old, so you can enjoy the special atmosphere of the aquarium only after it closes.
