From April 7, 2020 to May 10, 2020, “~ Sky / Sea / Flower Trio ~ Nemophila Festival 2020” will be held in Maishima. This season, a new “blue and white striped zone” has been newly established in the seaside area, where you can enjoy the blue and white nemophila that resembles the sea breeze.

An annual plant of the genus Nemophila, native to North America.
The Japanese name is Ruri Karakusa. English name is Baby blue eyes.
The plant is about 20 cm tall and branches finely. It spreads horizontally and blooms beautiful flowers like a blue sky.
One side is dyed in vivid platinum blue and enjoy the superb view of the blue of the sea and the sky.

Enjoy the blue sky, sea and flowers!

It is better to use public transportation during the Japanese vacation season from late April to early May as parking lots are crowded. About 1 million Nemophila are in full bloom on the vast site along Osaka Bay! In addition to the Sakura (Cherry blossom) Collaboration Zone, there will be two types of border zones in 2020: blue and white!
