Deg Lab Soft Ice Cream Research Institute presents Airy Soft Served Ice Cream, a collaboration with Ezaki Glico’s new “Cafe au Lait”. It will be on sale at the Namba AKICHI store in Osaka from Saturday, August 1 to Friday, August 14, 2020.
Airy Soft Served Ice Cream
Deg Lab Soft Cream Institute’s “Airy Soft Served Ice Cream” is the “ultimate fluffy texture” soft serve. Airy soft serve contains approximately 30% air, but Airy Soft Cream contains between 45% and 75% air, giving it a richer taste and a lighter, fluffier mouth feel. It also features an innovative visual that squeezes up like a flower petal.
Cafe au Lait × Rich Milk
This time, we collaborated with Ezaki Glico’s long-selling drink Café au Lait, which was first released in 1979. The new “café au lait” flavored soft serve combines the aroma of coffee and the natural sweetness of raw milk by cutting out sugar, and the smooth “milk” flavored soft serve.
The café au lait-flavored soft-serve ice cream is made from a blend of aromatic and bitter Brazilian Arabica and rich Vietnamese Canephora coffee beans. The “milk” flavored soft-serve ice cream has a rich, yet refreshing aftertaste.
