High-end bread specialty store Sakimoto will launch a new weekend-only bread, Darjeeling-infused Black Tea Bread, on sale only on Saturdays and Sundays from September 19 to October 11, 2020.

Limited Edition Darjeeling Tea-Filled Bread is Back for Weekends
The popular Darjeeling-infused Tea Bread was released in May 2020 for four days only. The dough is made of the highest quality North American wheat and pure fresh cream from Hokkaido, mixed with a generous amount of Darjeeling tea and baked.
The base dough is made using a method called “yudane method” to keep the texture of the dough sticky and moist. Darjeeling adds two types of tea leaves and powder to create a fragrant dish that will leave you with a refreshing aroma in your mouth every time you take a bite.
