Hello Kitty stuffed toy and key ring will appear from Sanrio in collaboration with Steiff. From October 5, 2019 (Sat), Sanrio will start accepting reservations at Sanrio stores and department stores’ Sanrio corners, and is scheduled for release on November 1 (Fri).
Hello Kitty ’s 45th anniversary.
In commemoration of the 45th anniversary of Hello Kitty’s birth, various projects have been implemented. The original stuffed toy and key ring were produced by a German craftsman who carefully finished them one by one.
In both cases, the neck, arms, and legs are movable, and the left ear is accompanied by a “button-in-ear” and “Steiff tag” that are proofs made by Steiff. A certificate with a serial number and a gift box made by Steiff are also included.
The stuffed toy will be sold for 45,000 yen plus tax for the first 700 units, and the key ring will be limited to 20,000 yen plus tax for the first time production of 1,000 units.
