Nodate Set” for making matcha outdoors
The nodate set is a set of six items designed to make it easy to enjoy making nodate tea outdoors. All of the items fit into one drawstring for easy transport, so you can make delicious matcha anytime, anywhere.

The latest edition of the long awaited collaboration that sold out instantly!
In 2016, the Nodate Set, a collaboration between Snow Peak and Masashichi Nakagawa Shoten, sold out in an instant. In addition to the two companies, the tea ceremony brand Charon has been added to this triple collaboration, and the product specifications have been updated. A total of six items have been developed by utilizing Japanese craftsmanship.

The Teacup
The bowl is made of titanium and is strong and light. In addition, its double-layered structure provides high heat retention and keeps the product from getting cold even in the open air. The logo of Snow Peak, Masashichi Nakagawa Shoten, and Chalon are emblazoned on the surface.

Chashaku, Chasen, and Natsume.
A folding Chashaku (teaspoon), a miniature 7cm Chasen, and a tea caddy with an inner lid to prevent matcha spillage are all calculated to fit inside the Natsume (bowl). All of the products are made of natural materials and made by craftsmen in Takayama, Nara and Tochigi.

Shifuku (Coverling)
The outer surface of the tea container is made of hand-spun and hand-knotted linen, which is one of the roots of Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten, and the inner lining is made of Snow Peak tent fabric. It has been designed with tent fittings and ties at the bottom of the sleeve, making it both functional and stylish. Three colors are available, each inspired by a different brand: ‘Ruri’, a limited edition color for Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten; ‘Ancient Purple’, a limited edition color for Chalon; and ‘Miru Ai’, a limited edition color for Snow Peak.

Chakin
Chakin means a cloth used in the tea ceremony.
The chakin is made of hand-spun and hand-woven linen cloth that Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten has been handling since its founding.
Includes professional guidance for beginners.

It comes with nodate guidance materials supervised by Soushin Kimura, a tea master and brand director of Charon, making it easy for even beginners to enjoy this course. In addition to the easy to understand illustrations, there is a web video that introduces how to make tea.
Is matcha the origin of Japan’s outdoor beverage?
Matcha was once drunk at “tea ceremonies” held by the feudal lords of the warring states when they went out to hunt and eat in the fields. The culture of making tea in the fields and mountains, called “nodate”, is said to have originated there.
Although coffee has become the most popular drink for camping, matcha is the starting point of the outdoor beverage category in Japan’s history of enjoying flowers, autumn leaves, and other seasonal activities.
