The “Afternoon Tea: The Scent of Spring” is an afternoon tea featuring a variety of sweets and savories that combine the “seven senses” of sweet and sour, using ingredients that are in season in spring.
The lineup of sweets includes “Tartlet Mandarin,” with its citrus aroma, “Strawberry Brioche Sandwich,” which combines the sweet and sour taste of strawberries with the roasted aroma of almonds, and “Honey Marinated Hyuganatsu,” which offers a balance of Hyuganatsu and fragrant honey.
The savory menu includes chilled corn soup with the aroma of truffle, and “Seared Duck with Sansho (Japanese pepper) and Kinome (Japanese buds),” which features bamboo shoots simmered in soup stock and wrapped in slowly roasted duck meat.
