Taiwanese melon buns

Taiwanese melon buns are a staple of Taiwan’s food stalls. Originally called Bo-Ro-Yo, it is a “no-holds-barred” bun with warm melon bread and sizzling butter in between. The “Yamabiko Bakery” in Umeda, Osaka, sells 10,000 units a month, making it a popular sweet. The gentle sweetness of the freshly baked melon bread mixes with the richness and saltiness of the thick slices of butter to create a sinful taste full of happiness. One bite and the sweet and sour taste will fill your mouth.
