MINISTOP’s soft serve ice cream shop “MINISOF” has landed in Osaka for the first time. The first store in Osaka opened in Shinsaibashi on Friday, August 28, 2020.
MINISTOP’s Soft served ice cream shop
Opened in March 2020 in Yokohama Porta, Kanagawa Prefecture, Minisof is a soft serve ice cream shop operated by the Ministop convenience store. The soft-serve ice cream is made from the same ingredients as Ministop’s, with the same richness of raw milk from Hokkaido and a smoother mouth feel due to the method of kneading the air content into the ice cream. As of August 2020, the company has eight stores across Japan, including Tokyo and Kyoto.
An arrangement based on Ministop’s soft serve ice cream
The main menu items are the Soft Ice Cream, a soft-serve ice cream with a soft and smooth taste and a savory waffle cone; the Drinkable Soft Ice Cream Parfait, a drink-type parfait that uses a blender machine to achieve a different and smoother taste than a shake; the large Three types of waffle soft-serve cones with soft-serve ice cream, fruit and various toppings. Each has a variety of flavors and arrangements on the menu.
Premium Belgian Chocolate, a limited-time menu item
The Premium Belgian Chocolate, based on Belgian chocolate software made with the finest Belgian couverture chocolate, is now available for a limited time in stores nationwide. It can be enjoyed in two styles: the Waffle Soft Cream, topped with crunchy nuts and crunchy pearl chocolate, and the Nomu Soft Cream Parfait, which is a bitter Belgian chocolate soft serve topped with a sweet drink.
