MINISTOP’s soft-serve ice cream specialty store, MINISOF, will release two new menu items, “Strawberry Shortcake” and “Belgian Chocolate Cake,” on December 18 (Fri.), 2020 at stores nationwide.
MINISTOP’s soft-serve ice cream specialty store, MINISOF
MINISOF, which opened in March 2020 in Yokohama Porta, Kanagawa Prefecture, is a soft serve ice cream specialty store operated by the convenience store Ministop. The soft-serve ice cream is made from the same ingredients as those used in Ministop, with Hokkaido raw milk used to add richness and a process that kneads in air to create a smooth texture. In addition to the simple soft-serve ice cream that Mini-Stop is known for, the company also offers a variety of other menu items, such as drinks mixed in a blender and parfait-style drinks with various toppings.

This time, there is a new lineup of cake-inspired products for the holiday season. The “Strawberry Shortcake” is made with soft ice cream (Hokkaido vanilla), soufflé roll with hollipop cream, sweet and sour strawberry sauce, and fresh strawberries on top. The other is the “Belgian Chocolate Cake,” which combines Belgian chocolate softness with a mild chocolate sole and soufflé roll, and is topped with pearl chocolate and cocoa cookies.
New banana juice mixed with soft serve ice cream is also available.
On the same day, “Creamy Banana Juice,” the first in the new category “Fruit Juice” series, was also released. It is a simple banana juice made from ripe bananas and specially selected milk from Hokkaido, mixed with soft ice cream (Hokkaido vanilla) to create an original drink unique to MINISOF.
