Located along the Minatogawa River in Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture, about 60 minutes from central Tokyo, Grand Dome Chiba Futtsu is one of the largest glamping facilities in the Kanto area, with a total of 20 buildings. Visitors can experience an outdoor stay in a variety of glamping domes, each with its own unique characteristics, and BBQ using locally grown ingredients to make their stay comfortable and fulfilling.
There are a total of five different types of glamping domes, each with a different concept. Each type has a different interior theme, allowing you to choose the room that is just right for you. Each type is equipped with its own dining space, bath, and toilet, ensuring a private space.
“Private Sauna Dome” to “get ready” anytime
For example, the “Private Sauna Dome” in the center of the site is a large dome-shaped tent with a private sauna that allows you to experience “Totooto” at any time during your stay. The deck space is also equipped with a fire pit and outdoor sofa, so you can enjoy a relaxing private moment while watching the flickering flames.
Private Villa” with natural “Kuro Onsen” hot spring
A total of three “private villas” with private pools and “Kuro Onsen,” a natural hot spring with a unique black color, are also available. The villa, which is uniquely shaped like three hexagons put together, has four single beds and can accommodate up to eight people if mattresses are used.
Glamping BBQ using local ingredients for “local production for local consumption
BBQ, an essential part of glamping, is a “thousand-product, thousand-consumption” glamping BBQ that focuses on locally produced ingredients. You can enjoy a menu that can only be enjoyed here, using plenty of local ingredients such as Kazusa Wagyu, a brand of Japanese beef from Chiba Prefecture, brand pork, locally grown vegetables, and abundant marine products such as sea bream and turban shells that are unique to the Boso area.
7 “Marche” to enhance your stay
Also, be sure to check out the “Marche,” an inclusive service that will enhance your stay. A total of seven types of contents are available, including “Oyasai Marche,” where vegetables produced by local farmers are lined up, “SAKE Marche,” a BAR where you can enjoy free drinks, “Kunsei Marche,” where you can try smoking at the administration building, and “Spice Marche,” where you can enjoy making your own mixed spices.
