Fukuoka Christmas Market, the largest Christmas market in Japan, will be held in November 2022 at three venues: JR Hakata Station Square, Fukuoka City Hall West Side Fureai Plaza, and Fukuoka Daimaru Elgarra Passage Square.
Japan’s Largest “Fukuoka Christmas Market” to be Held at Three Venues
In 2021, the popular “Fukuoka Christmas Market” drew 5.4 million visitors to the two venues in front of Hakata Station and Tenjin, and in 2022, under the theme of “Light and Wishes,” many stores selling Christmas goods and gourmet foods will open their stores. Visitors can enjoy Christmas shopping amidst the gorgeous illumination of the market.
Tenjin Chuo Park also has a new illumination
In addition, “QTnet presents Hikari no Forest,” a new base for a symbolic tree and illumination, will appear in Tenjin Chuo Park. Together with the “Nakasu Kibounohikari Tree,” a Christmas tree to be installed on Nakasu Chuo-dori Avenue and Nakagawa-dori Avenue, the central Fukuoka area will be decorated with a Christmas-like glow.
