Hoshino Resort Tomamu in Hokkaido, Japan, will hold “Eating Butter Apero,” a gourmet event featuring eating butter and wine, from September 1 (Thursday) to October 31 (Monday), 2022.
Gourmet Event of Eating Butter & Hokkaido Wine
Hoshino Resort Tomamu’s “Eating Butter Apero” is a gourmet event where visitors can enjoy eating butter and wine in the vast farm area. The butter served is made from Tomamu milk squeezed from cows grazing free range in the farm area, allowing visitors to enjoy the full flavor of the butter.
The lineup includes 10 types of edible butters made with ingredients unique to Hokkaido. These include “Crab and Kelp,” which is a mixture of broken crab meat, “Salmon and Yuzu,” which has a refreshing citrus flavor, and “Haskap and Milk Jam,” which is a perfect combination of the tartness of Haskap and the sweetness of milk butter. Flavors using autumn ingredients such as pumpkin and chestnuts will also be available.
Hokkaido wines are available in 10 varieties, so it is a good idea to enjoy them with your favorite flavors. We recommend the mineral-toned “Kerner” wine with “crab and kelp,” and the “Pinot Noir” wine with “Haskap and white chocolate” for its tight fruitiness.
Large farm area with cows and sheep
The farm area, where the event will be held, is a vast space of approximately 100 hectares, where visitors can enjoy the idyllic scenery unique to Hokkaido. Enjoy Apero to your heart’s content amidst the relaxed lifestyle of cows, goats, sheep, and other animals.
