Shikoku Aquarium in Kagawa Prefecture will hold a nighttime aquarium event, “Nightscape Koganeiro 2022,” from July 23 (Sat) to August 28 (Sun), 2022.
Event to enjoy a fantastic “night aquarium
Nightscape Koganeiro 2022″ is an event in which visitors can enjoy the aquarium at night, when the atmosphere is different from that of the daytime. The normal opening hours of 18:00 will be extended to 21:00, and a romantic atmosphere will be created with night-only lighting and dolphin shows.

In the museum, the aquarium lighting is changed to blue color after 6:00 p.m.. Visitors are enveloped in a fantastic atmosphere as if they are under the sea.

The aquarium’s unique nighttime programs are also noteworthy. At dusk, the Dolphin Sunset Program is held, where visitors can enjoy a dolphin show with the sunset. The dolphins’ beautiful performance can be seen against the backdrop of the setting sun over the Seto Inland Sea.
Also, during the period, programs featuring marine creatures in the museum will be expanded. Visitors can watch penguins, sea lions, seals, and other sea creatures eating food and the breeding staff taking care of the creatures’ health.
And a beer garden overlooking the Seto Inland Sea.
In addition, a beer garden will be held at Kitchen Setouchi, a restaurant overlooking the sea. The menu includes a variety of snacks such as fries, deep-fried tofu, and edamame (green soybeans), as well as all-you-can-drink alcoholic and soft drinks. Enjoy a different kind of beer garden while overlooking the Seto Inland Sea.
