Ito Kyuemon has been proposing more than 100 kinds of Uji matcha sweets in pursuit of the possibilities of Uji matcha, as well as creative menus that combine matcha with various ingredients. This time, shaved ice with Uji matcha as the main ingredient will be added to the lineup for the sunny summer season.

For example, the “Uji Matcha Dakko Ice” is shaved ice with salty matcha bean dakko (green tea bean paste) nestled in the ice. Topped with a generous dollop of matcha bean paste-based sauce, it is a matcha-obsessed dish.
