Sorry…the September parfait is over, but the Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto is offering three different premium parfaits, changing monthly from Monday, September 12, 2022 through Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

Limited to 10 servings a day, rich parfait with autumn flavors

Each of the three types of premium parfaits, limited to 10 servings per day, is made with ingredients that are in season during the fall season, and are not only delicious but also visually appealing.

September “Marron Mont Blanc Parfait with Rum and Cassis (End)

September’s “Marron Mont Blanc Parfait with Rum and Cassis” combines the rich taste of Western chestnuts and the aroma of rum for a mature taste. Layers of marron cream, mousse, and ice cream are layered with sweet and sour blackcurrant jelly as an accent. Chocolate ice cream scented with jasmine tea provides a cool and refreshing texture.

October “Japanese Chestnut Mont Blanc Parfait with Uji Green Tea and Yuzu

For October, the “Japanese Chestnut Mont Blanc Parfait with Uji Green Tea and Yuzu” has a Japanese taste. The parfait expresses the autumn season in Kyoto, with matcha pudding made with an abundance of matcha green tea from Uji, Kyoto, and accented with a sour yuzu sorbet. It is also decorated with plenty of Japanese sweets such as Japanese chestnut pudding, mousse, and astringent chestnuts.

November “Raspberry & Caramel-Scented Pear Parfait

The last item for November is the fruity “Raspberry & Caramel-Scented Pear Parfait. The main ingredient is a gently fragrant pear compote, combined with a refreshing rooibos tea jelly and a bittersweet caramel mousse. The romantic appearance of the fresh raspberries is also a key point.
