Hotel Okura Kyoto will hold its fifth afternoon tea in collaboration with Ginori 1735 (GINORI 1735) from July 1 (Friday) to August 30 (Tuesday), 2022, at the Chippendale Bar on the second floor.

Hotel Okura Kyoto and Italian lifestyle brand Ginori 1735 have collaborated for the fifth time. In “vol.5 Midsummer Fruits – Seeking Coolness -,” a menu featuring an abundance of refreshing “fruits” will be presented.


Cool Purple Jelly & “Seashell” Meringue
The “Butterfly Pea Jelly and Peach Compote” is a standout with its eye-catching pale purple color. The “Pineapple and Caramel Moulin Chantilly” with tropical fruits sandwiched between pure white meringue in a “seashell” shape, and the “Yogurt Pannacotta and Machedonia with Lychee Granite” in a transparent glass for a cool appearance are also on the menu. Two types of crispy baked scones, “Mango” and “Coconut,” are available. Be sure to check out the special savory dishes such as “Beef Fillet Steak with Oriental Sauce” and “Curry Gratin. Enjoy a welcome drink made with fruit vinegar, Gion Tsujiri cold sencha tea, Kyoto Minoyo soy bean coffee, or any other beverage of your choice.
