Kyoto-based Ito Kyuemon has introduced a new “Shine Muscat Matcha Parfait,” which will be sold exclusively at the Uji Main Store, JR Uji Ekimae Store, and Gion Shijo Store from August 5 (Fri.) to August 31 (Wed.), 2022.
Matcha parfait topped with “Shine Muscat
The “Shine Muscat Matcha Parfait” is the second in the “Fruits x Uji Matcha” parfait series from Kyoto-based Ito Kyuemon. This Japanese-style parfait is made with homemade Uji matcha jelly, sencha green tea jelly, anko (red bean paste), and shiratama (white bean curd), and topped with a generous amount of cheinmuscat.
The mellow aroma and bitterness of Uji green tea and the refreshing taste of sencha green tea jelly are matched by the fresh and juicy sweetness of the Shine Muscat. The light green marble chocolate also adds to the visual appeal.
