Itokyuemon Kyoto has introduced an autumn limited menu item, Momiji Maccha Parfait, which will be available at the Uji Main Store, JR Uji Station Store, and Gion Shijo Store from Friday, October 14, 2022 to the end of November.

The Momiji Green Tea Parfait, an annual limited autumn menu item, is a Japanese parfait with an autumnal twist on the standard green tea parfait. Momiji-kinton (red bean paste), momiji jelly, chestnuts simmered in astringent chestnut bark, Naruto kintoki sweet potato cream, and tuile almond cookies are layered to create a glossy autumnal look.
The combination of these ingredients, along with matcha jelly and hojicha mitsu (roasted green tea), is a tasteful dish that allows you to enjoy the beauty of Japanese autumn with your eyes and tongue.
