The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto’s Afternoon Tea, where Pierre Hermé Paris patissiers are always on hand to offer sweets using seasonal fruits and ingredients that change with the seasons. This time, we propose an afternoon tea style of sweets that take advantage of the refreshing taste of citrus fruits, suitable for the early summer season.

The afternoon tea stand is decorated with a variety of eye-catching sweets in bright yellow and orange colors reminiscent of the pleasant early summer sunlight. The Cheesecake Anfinement Citron, a lemon-flavored cheesecake, the Choux Anfinement Citron, lemon cream sandwiched between puff pastry, and the classic Satine, a combination of passion fruit, orange, and cream cheese, offer a perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors. The menu offers a perfect balance of sweet and sour tastes.
The savory dishes, which are served on a different tier from the sweets, are also richly flavored with the tastes of early summer, such as corn and tomatoes. The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto’s chef prepares five kinds of authentic hotel-made savories.
