Summer Sweets Buffet with “LA” theme
The Hilton Nagoya proposes a unique themed sweets buffet that changes with the season. This year’s theme is “Escape to LA” and will feature a buffet of sweets that will make you feel like you are on a trip to Los Angeles, California in the United States.
Adorning the buffet table are a variety of colorful summer sweets inspired by the six main areas (Beverly Hills, Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Palm Springs, Hollywood, and Malibu) in the greater Los Angeles area.
Cakes with a Hollywood motif, a sacred place for movies
For example, the “Hollywood Film Chocolate Cake,” inspired by the Hollywood area known as a sacred place for movies, is a unique cake that resembles a film used for shooting movies. The “Red Carpet Roll Cake,” made with red rice flour roll dough and rolled with berry jam and mascarpone cheese cream, is an unmistakable representation of the red carpet.

Other menu items include a “Flower Shortcake” inspired by the elegant Beverly Hills area, a “Summer Doughnut” that recreates a Santa Monica Ferris wheel, and a “Tropical Pineapple Cake” that mimics a palm tree on Venice Beach, a resort-like setting.
