At The Strings Hotel Nagoya, the buffet “STRINGS Jellicle Buffet” will be held for a limited time from Saturday, January 21, 2023 to Wednesday, March 15, 2023, in collaboration with the Shiki Theater Company’s musical “Cats”.

Cats, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary in Japan in 2023, and The Strings Hotel Nagoya, which will celebrate its 7th anniversary. The “STRINGS Jellicle Buffet” held on both anniversary years is a special buffet inspired by the musical “Cats”.
A menu with a motif of all 27 jellicle cats
The buffet is decorated with gourmet foods and sweets based on the appearance, characteristics, and names of all 27 characters that appear in the musical. In addition to the characters, the entire world of the musical is inspired by the pie-wrapped soup inspired by the moon floating in a garbage dump, the apple pie with cat paw prints, and the bread gratin that expresses Jellicle Cats with various ingredients. You can enjoy all 33 items on the unique menu.
In 1988, the Nagoya premiere of “Cats” was held in the Sasashima live area where the Strings Hotel Nagoya is located.
