Aman Tokyo will offer a limited-time afternoon tea, “Afternoon Tea Halloween Masquerade,” from September 15 (Thu) to October 31 (Mon), 2022 at “The Lounge by Aman” on the 33rd floor.
Halloween Afternoon Tea with “Masquerade” theme
The theme of this year’s afternoon tea is “Masquerade. A variety of dishes featuring Halloween cats and jack-o’-lanterns will be served on a special dark black bamboo stand.
On the top tier is a “Halloween Cat” made of rich chocolate mousse topped with Cassis cream puffs. It is decorated with brightly colored pumpkin tarts and chocolate hats.
The middle tier features a variety of autumn ingredients, including “green tea tiramisu” topped with a cross-shaped white chocolate, “pumpkin and apricot sablé,” and “purple sweet potato cookies. In the jewelry box accompanying the stand, there are “ghost” style sweets such as Mont Blanc tart with an image of a mummy in a coffin and coconut mousse in the shape of an eyeball.
The savory menu on the lower level features playful items. The menu includes sandwiches made of bamboo charcoal bread in the shape of a “jack-o’-lantern” and a scallop tart with the red color of beet.
