Shimokitazawa is not only a town of theater, vintage clothing, and music, but also a curry town with many famous restaurants. The Shimokitazawa Curry Festival, now in its 11th year, is one of the three major curry festivals in the Kanto region, where visitors can enjoy curry menus offered by stores in the Shimokitazawa area.
A total of 117 stores from the Shimokitazawa area participated
During the period, 117 participating restaurants in the Shimokitazawa Station area will offer miniature curries that are perfect for eating and walking, take-out menus, and limited-edition curry-themed menus. Each restaurant will offer its own specialties, ranging from the standard curry familiar to Japanese people to soup curry, spice curry, Indian curry, and Thai curry.
And the annual stamp rally.
A stamp rally will also be held to collect stamps at each participating restaurant. The more you participate, the more you can enjoy this annual event, which includes first-come, first-served gifts, gifts for eating curry and collecting stamps, and gorgeous prizes by drawing lots.
