Halloween Sweets Buffet with “Tastes of Autumn”
Conrad Tokyo’s “Gothic Halloween Sweets Buffet” expresses the world of Halloween using autumn flavors such as chestnuts, sweet potatoes, pears, and pumpkins. 13 kinds of sweets and 5 kinds of savories can be enjoyed with scones and drinks.
Coffin-style sweet potatoes and chocolate cake with dancing bats
The lineup of sweets includes “Anno sweet potato coffin sweet potato,” which is made with Anno sweet potato cream and topped with a chocolate cross to resemble a coffin. The “Chocolate Ganache Sandwich with Purple Sweet Potato Glaze” is a sponge cake with a chocolate ganache sandwich, covered with purple sweet potato sauce and decorated with a bat motif.
Berry sweets with cross and skull motifs are also available.
There is a wide variety of menu items using berries, which offer a refreshingly sour taste. The lineup includes “Berry and Violet Mousse Chocolate Cream Glowing Cross,” a berry and violet mousse topped with a sparkling chocolate cross, and “Blueberry Ganache Skull Rare Cheese,” a blueberry chocolate ganache topped with skeletal rare cheese.
A full range of savories
Savory offerings include sandwiches, shrimp cocktail, pumpkin potage, and pumpkin and Camembert cheese quiche. Live stations will offer chicken coq au vin, a red wine braised chicken and vegetables.
