The 8th Japan Fisherman’s Festival 2022 – National Fish Market & Fish Market Festival – will be held in Hibiya Park, Tokyo, from November 17 (Thu) to 20 (Sun), 2022.

Japan’s largest seafood gourmet event
Japan Fisherman’s Festival is a gourmet event where visitors can enjoy seafood dishes from all over Japan. The total number of visitors to the festival, including its sister events and spin-off events, exceeds 1 million, making it one of the largest food festivals in Japan that specializes in seafood cuisine.

About 70 booths with a wide variety of seafood dishes
In 2022, the area will be expanded to include approximately 70 booths, three times as many as the previous year. Visitors will be able to enjoy a wide variety of exquisite gourmet seafood dishes, such as seafood rice bowls, oysters from various regions, local fishermen’s rice, local cuisine, and hot pot dishes.

Featured is a wide variety of Kaisen-don (seafood bowls)
Of particular note are the kaisen donburi, which are made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The “Natural Alaskan salmon roe rice bowl” is filled to overflowing with the highest grade of salmon roe, the “Three-color rice bowl with big fatty tuna, medium fatty tuna, and red meat” allows you to compare the different types of tuna, and the “Kitakai Houshune 9 kinds of seafood rice bowl” is filled with the bounty of the sea: button shrimp, sea urchin, abalone, scallops, crab, yellowtail, salmon, and kombu (kelp with baby kelp). Kaisen Donburi,” which is a bowl of rice topped with a variety of seafood, is available.
