Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa will hold an afternoon tea featuring sweets and autumnal delicacies transformed by the magic of a witch’s messenger, the “Black Cat,” to Halloween specifications. The menu includes macaroons, cookies, and other sweets with a black cat motif to get you in the mood for Halloween.
Lined up on the three-tier tea stand are macaroon cassis with a black cat with distinctive eyes, cookies in the shape of a black cat, purple sweet potato Mont Blanc with a bat half-hidden, bamboo charcoal puff cream with pumpkin, and other sweets made with grapes, persimmons, figs, and other fruits that are in season in autumn.
In addition, the menu will offer SDGs-friendly savories, such as bread cups with chili con carne sauce that utilize substandard tomatoes, and scones made with whey instead of milk.
