Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba has introduced an afternoon tea themed on “Adult Halloween. The sweets and savories are colored in “black and purple” to create a chic and mysterious Halloween atmosphere.
Sweets inspired by “witches and poisonous mushrooms
The most noteworthy are the sweets with a slightly dark atmosphere, inspired by witches and poisonous mushrooms. For example, the “Chocolate Ganache and Blackberry Mousse” on the top shelf is a chocolate ganache combined with a blackberry mousse reminiscent of witches, topped with a chocolate dome resembling a poisonous mushroom.
The middle tier also features a variety of Halloween-inspired sweets, including “bamboo charcoal cheesecake” colored black with bamboo charcoal and “bamboo charcoal meringue cookies” reminiscent of a witch’s wand.
Savory is also available in two colors, black and purple.
Savory items on the lower tier are also unified in black and purple. The tea stand is decorated with chic menu items such as “Sweet Potato and Black Sesame Tart” filled with sweet potato and black sesame paste, and “Purple Hot Dog” sandwiched between purple buns.
