Stacked Box Afternoon Tea with Summer Scene Theme
A new summer scene-themed menu is now available from Asakusa View Hotel’s afternoon tea, which offers a view of Sensoji Temple and Tokyo Sky Tree. Sweets and savories are served in five stacked boxes named after the five-story pagoda of Sensoji Temple.
Each stacked box has its own theme: “Mango,” “White Peach,” “Seiryo (Cool),” “Asakusa Festival,” and “Summer Season. Each box is arranged for one person, so the amount of food can be enjoyed by one person regardless of the number of people in the group.

The “Mango” themed stacked box features a total of five kinds of mango sweets: roll cake, yogurt mousse, tart, macarons, and amber sugar, all using the seasonal fruit. The “Hakuto” theme includes an assortment of sweets made with an abundance of white peaches, such as jellies and kuzukiri.
Also check out the “Seiryo (Cool),” a refreshingly cool jelly that represents a “goldfish” swimming gracefully in a glass bowl. The “Seiryo (Cool)” is a refreshing and cool-looking jelly with a white sweet bean paste that resembles “Asagao (Morning Glory),” a traditional summer food.
The “Asakusa Festival” box will feature sweets themed on the joys of festivals, such as a white bean paste wagashi in the shape of a Kaminarimon lantern, while the “Summer Season” box of savory items will include a shrimp mayo bagel sandwich and a corn mousse.
In addition, more than 10 kinds of drinks, including black tea and herbal tea, will be offered as much as you can drink, and sparkling wine with shines muscat will be available as a toast drink. Guests will be able to enjoy an elegant summer tea time from the top floor of the hotel while enjoying a view of the Tokyo Sky Tree and the town of Asakusa.
