The Palace Hotel Tokyo has released its Christmas Cake & Bread for 2022, with reservations being accepted at the B1F Pastry Shop Sweets & Deli and other locations starting on Saturday, October 1, 2022.
We know it’s hard to choose, but reservations for this year’s Christmas cakes from various hotels and restaurants have begun! If there is a cake you would like to try, make a reservation as soon as possible. Look for it in the Christmas cake tag.
Palace Hotel Tokyo’s 2022 Christmas Cake

The Palace Hotel Tokyo has prepared a total of nine types of Christmas cakes and seven types of breads for the 2022 Christmas season. The lineup includes a cake decorated with a “red crescent moon,” Mont Blanc that looks like a snowy mountain, and many other unique items.

Boite de Noel” is a cake layered with strawberry jelly, strawberry cream, mascarpone mousse, and almond dough, and glazed with deep red raspberry jelly. The smooth texture and sweet and sour taste of the cake is covered with a raspberry chocolate box hollowed out in the shape of a snowflake or star.
The traditional “Marron Chantilly” is now available in a Christmas version.
Mont Blanc, which looks like a snowy mountain, is a Christmas-only version of the Palace Hotel’s traditional “Marron Chantilly. It is a luxurious dish made with smooth cream with a low sweetness and chestnuts that have been carefully back-filled.
Other items on the menu include the “Gateau au Fraise,” a strawberry shortcake that is easy on the palate, and the “Bûche de Noël,” richly flavored with cacao. The “Poinsettia,” which is based on the image of a poinsettia blooming in a silvery-white world, will be presented in a 52-centimeter-tall package with a strong presence.

Various variations of Stollen
In addition to the standard stollen, a wide variety of stollen, a well-known item during the Christmas season, will be available. 2022’s limited edition flavor is “Yuzu and Ganduja Stollen”. The lineup also includes “Bonen Stollen” made with astringent chestnuts and beans and finished with a generous amount of soybean flour, and “Kaga Hojicha Stollen” made with Dainagon and white chocolate with raspberry accents.
