The Capitol Hotel Tokyu is offering “Halloween Sweets Selection 2022,” a lineup of Halloween-inspired sweets, from October 1 (Sat) to 31 (Mon), 2022.
Limited edition cake with “Halloween” motif
Halloween Sweets Selection 2022″ features four Halloween-themed cakes and a cookie tin.
The highlight is a cake with an impactful appearance that is only available during Halloween. The “Mont Brain” cake has a unique visual image of a “brain. The cake is made with a butter cookie base with a moderate sweetness, topped with fresh cream and chestnut compote, and covered with Japanese chestnut paste. Despite its appearance, it is an item that allows you to enjoy the elegant taste of chestnuts.
The Evil Eye, with its strikingly realistic “eyeball” motif, is filled with blonde chocolate that is biscuit-like in flavor and accented with a hint of saltiness. The pear jelly is layered with blonde chocolate mousse and ganache, and covered with strawberries and raspberries.
The lineup also includes “Witch Pot,” a vanilla mousse on top of a streusel cookie decorated with a “witch pot” decoration, and “Tomb,” a mousse cake with pumpkin puree and chocolate crosses.
And a cookie tin with 7 different kinds of cookies.
Also recommended is the “Halloween Cookie Assortment,” a cookie tin with a total of seven different cookie selections. In addition to icing cookies with Halloween-inspired looks such as bats and pumpkins, there is also a selection of standard cookies such as leaf pies and cigars.
