Team Lab Planets TOKYO DMM” in Toyosu, Tokyo, will present a summer-only work of art with sunflowers in full bloom from July 1 (Fri) to July 31 (Sun), 2022.
A summer-only work with sunflowers in full bloom
Team Lab Planets TOKYO DMM is a new generation museum where visitors can enjoy hands-on art by Team Lab. The museum is composed of 4 gigantic art spaces and 2 gardens. Two such works at “Team Lab Planets TOKYO DMM” will be transformed into a summer version with blooming sunflowers for a limited time.
Sunflowers” are projected on a work of art that visitors can enjoy by entering the water.
In “Drawing on the Water Surface Drawn by Koi Dancing with People – Infinity,” visitors walk through the work by entering water on which images of koi carp are projected, and countless sunflowers are projected at their feet. Visitors can slowly watch orange and yellow sunflowers bloom and fall.
Admire sunflowers while lying down
Floating in the Falling Universe of Flowers,” in which flowers bloom throughout the entire exhibition space, has also been updated to a sunflower version. It is recommended to view the flowers while walking around, or even while lying down.
In addition, Vegan Ramen UZU Tokyo, which opened on the premises in 2021, offers a summer-only menu. The menu includes caramel coconut ice cream, vegan spicy miso tsukemen noodles, and other items perfect for the hot summer months.
