The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho will offer afternoon tea using only plant-based ingredients at its 36th-floor All-Day Dining OASIS GARDEN from June 1 (Wed) to August 31 (Wed), 2022.
Vegan Afternoon Tea inspired by the “Hanging Garden
The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho will hold an afternoon tea inspired by a “floating garden. Under the supervision of vegan consultant Haruka, a lineup of sweets and savories will be served, using many ingredients that are in season during the summer.
Rice Flour Cocoa Pancake & Sweet Sake Truffle Chocolate
The most notable item on the plate is a sweet plate that looks like a large “tree” growing on the earth. The “rice flour cocoa pancake” is topped with “amazake truffle chocolate” that resembles a rock, creating a visually pleasing dish. The “Edamame and Green Tea Tart” with “Cactus Flower” and the sweet and sour “Cherry and Berry Cake” are also available. All of these cakes are free of gluten, sugar, and five pungent roots, and are made with rice flour and soy milk for a gentle and mild taste.
Kiwi Glass Sweets & Rice Flour Scones
The “Soy Milk and Coconut Panna Cotta,” a glass of sweets inspired by the word “water,” is topped with refreshing kiwi for a refreshing taste. In addition, there are “rice flour scones” with “coconut” and “barley miso and pecan nut” flavors.
“Foggy” is a fantastic savory.
Also check out the “sky”-inspired savory plates. The main dish is summer vegetables, with unique items such as “Corn ‘Spice’ Rice Rolls” and “Soy Meat Bang Bang Jeans. The center of the plate is decorated with dry ice to create a “mist” that looks cool to the eye.
