Tokyo Banana’s” flagship store will open on December 8, 2022 (Thursday) in Tokyo Station Ichibangai, directly connected to the Yaesu Exit of JR Tokyo Station. Tokyo Banana’s Legendary Curry Bread” and “Tokyo Banana’s Cream An Doughnut” will be available as store exclusive products.
Tokyo Banana’s curry bread is back after a 20-year absence.
This new flagship store will also serve as a source of information on the new era of “Tokyo Banana. The first of the store’s limited edition products announced is “Tokyo Banana’s Legendary Curry Bread,” a “Tokyo Banana” curry bread that was a huge hit 20 years ago.
The key to the flavor is a curry roux made from ground pork and beef, sautéed onions, cream, and banana puree. The result is a legendary dish that sold 2,000 servings a day in Marunouchi 1-chome, Tokyo, back in 2002.

Also on sale on the same day is the “Tokyo Banana Cream An Donut,” which, like the curry bun, is a store-exclusive product. The doughnut dough, with its firm and fluffy texture, is filled with lightly sweetened koshi-an and banana-flavored custard cream, and then deep-fried in a batter sprinkled with delicate rice flour fiantine. The exquisite marriage of banana custard and sweet bean paste can be enjoyed.
