Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku in Tokyo will hold “Starry Illuminations-OMOHARA Christmas illumination-” at its rooftop terrace “Omohara no Mori” from November 3 (Thu) to December 25 (Sun), 2022.
Christmas illumination renewed
Omohara Christmas Illumination, an annual winter event held at the Omohara no Mori rooftop terrace of Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku, will be renewed for the first time on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the opening of Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku. The “Starry Illumination – Omohara Christmas Illumination” will be held based on the concept of a “starry forest.
Representation of “shooting stars” falling down
The “Starry Illumination – Omohara Christmas Illumination -” will depict a lot of falling stars in the image of “a space where you can almost reach the stars,” which is unique to “Omohara no Mori. The illumination is centered on the center court, and even the trees along the street will be decorated with illuminations.
Christmas tree with shiny animal motif ornaments
During the period, a Christmas tree decorated with ornaments & leaves with animal motifs such as polar bears and reindeer will also be set up. Visitors can appreciate the warmth of natural light on the open terrace surrounded by greenery.
