【Sup! Tokyo! Osaka! & Fukuoka!】 Cafe & Books Bibliotheque is offering a limited time offer of early summer desserts!

Café & Books Bibliothèque’s early summer limited edition sweets have been on sale at all Café & Books Bibliothèque stores for a limited time since May 11.

Early summer-only desserts of “domestic fruits” directly from the production area

Café & Books Bibliotheque has developed a special dessert menu just for early summer using fruits directly shipped from the production area. The menu uses carefully selected domestic fruits such as Tosa bergamot, which is rare in Japan, Asuka ruby strawberries, which are like “jewels,” and Hachijo fruit lemons, which are produced only on Hachijojima Island, Tokyo.

Freshly harvested fruits are crossed with butter, cheese, and Greek yogurt to create a rich flavor. We deliver unique flavors that maximize the taste and aroma of fresh fruit.

Rare domestic bergamot butter cake

The “Tosa Bergamot and Apricot Butter Cake” combines Tosa bergamot, a rare citrus fruit from Haruno-cho, Kochi Prefecture, and Takachiho fermented butter from Miyazaki Prefecture. The fluffy sponge is sandwiched between two layers of bergamot confiture and filled with rich butter cream.

Asuka Ruby” Strawberry Mille-feuille, “like a jewel

Asuka Ruby” strawberries from Asuka Village in Nara Prefecture, which are said to be “like jewels,” are arranged in a mille-feuille. In order to bring out the fresh acidity of the Asuka Ruby, fresh butter cream flavored with organic vanilla is added and combined with a crispy pie.

Delicious lemon tart with the peel

Hachijo Fruits Lemons, which can be eaten with their peel intact, are combined with rich mascarpone cream to make a tart. The mildly sour Hachijo Fruit Lemon and mascarpone cream are a perfect match, and when eaten with vanilla ice cream and cheese tuile, the rich flavor can be enjoyed even more.
