SAKEICE, a sake ice cream specialty store, will open limited-time stores in Tokyo, Sapporo, and Kyoto starting June 16, 2022 (Thursday).

SAKE ICE CREAM” is a specialty store that offers “slightly intoxicating” sake ice cream mixed with plenty of sake. Unlike ice cream containing sake lees or ice cream with a small amount of alcohol (less than 1%), this ice cream has the aroma and flavor of sake and is highly alcoholic, making it an “adult flavor” that can be enjoyed by adults.
Currently, the company’s main business is the directly-managed “Sake Ice Ikebukuro Store” in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, and online. The new limited-time store will sell popular menu items from the Hokkaido and Kyoto areas, where it has not been easy to taste saké ice cream.
Sake ice cream that is slightly intoxicating
The store offers various flavors of Sake-Ice’s popular “cup ice cream. The lineup includes the ever-popular “Sake Ice (Alc 3.5%),” the “Sake Ice-Yuzu (Alc 3.5%),” which is made by kneading yuzu into milk ice cream, and the “Sake Ice-Matcha (Alc 3.5%),” which has the refreshing aroma of green tea.
In addition, a non-alcoholic type “Murasaki Amazake” made from purple amazake (made from purple black rice and malted rice) kneaded into milk ice cream will also be available, so both children and adults will be able to enjoy it with great satisfaction.
