Shirahama-cho, Wakayama Prefecture, is one of the Kansai region’s leading resort areas. The new “Eland ~Grand Dome Wakayama Shirahama~” is a glamping facility that offers a one-of-a-kind outdoor experience on an uninhabited island that can be reached by car. While staying in large-space dome tents on this nature-rich island, guests can enjoy a private beach, sauna, infinity Jacuzzi with zero distance from the ocean (limited to certain tents), and various marine activities.

There are only nine all-room ocean-view dome tents, which serve as the base for your stay, on the island, which covers more than 10,000 square meters in total area. All rooms are equipped with individual bathrooms, toilets, and sinks, allowing families and outdoor novices to enjoy the great outdoors in peace.
The BBQ, an essential part of glamping, features brand-name Kumano beef, seafood, plums, mandarin oranges, and other seasonal local ingredients.
