YORUNOYO, an illumination event in the Yokohama-Minato Mirai area, will be held from November 24, 2022 (Thursday) to January 3, 2023 (Tuesday) in the waterfront area of central Yokohama.

Art Illumination “YORUNOYO” in Minato Mirai, Yokohama
“YORUNOYO” is an art illumination that can be enjoyed while touring around the port city of Yokohama. 2022’s theme is “GROW – Evolving -” and the dynamic illumination that makes full use of projection and other techniques will color Yokohama at night in a spectacular way.

“NIGHT VIEWING”, the main program with dynamic lights and music
Of particular note is “NIGHT VIEWING,” a 5-minute program featuring a total of 34 facilities, including Yokohama’s waterfront, historical buildings, and modern buildings, all interlocked together. Visitors can especially enjoy a powerful light and sound performance from Osanbashi Bridge, the main viewing point.

Illuminations also illuminate Shinko Chuo Plaza and Yamashita Park
In addition, other popular spots such as “Shinko Chuo Hiroba,” where light installations spread over the entire plaza, “Osanbashi Pier Building,” where a projection that changes images in response to human movement is projected, and “Yamashita Park,” where a light performance in conjunction with “NIGHT VIEWING” is held, will also be illuminated and projection mapping will be provided.
