The “Doorman Snoopy” Afternoon Tea is an afternoon tea featuring sweets and savories related to Snoopy’s original comic “Peanuts. It is a special menu commemorating the 20th anniversary of the birth of “Doorman Snoopy,” who wears the uniform of the Imperial Hotel Osaka doorman.
The first drink was a lemonade titled “Lucy’s ‘Counseling Room for the Heart’. The pale blue color represents the change in her mind due to Lucy’s dry advice.
The tea stand that follows features a lineup of Snoopy’s favorite foods, including mini cones made to look like his favorite strawberry and chocolate ice cream, and chocolate chip cookies. There will also be unique sweets such as a mango mousse that looks like Charlie Brown’s “zigzag pattern” t-shirt, and a chocolate cake that looks like Doorman Snoopy’s hat.
The savory menu will include items inspired by the story, such as a hamburger based on a glove made for baseball fan Charlie Brown, and a flat tuna sandwich inspired by Sally’s lunch after her lunch box was run over by a school bus.
Afternoon Tea Benefits
The afternoon tea comes with a set of recycled cork coasters with the original design of the 20th anniversary of the birth of “Doorman Snoopy. In addition, a menu pamphlet describing the dishes with the “Peanuts” characters will be presented.
