Tamago Toji Katsudon is the cheapest! The price is 450 yen including tax. Even if you add miso soup (50 yen), it’s only one coin! Just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean it’s not… It’s a large dish filled with rice and chicken cutlets. The chicken cutlet made from chicken thighs is about 3cm thick and is very powerful! It’s a very hearty dish, but with the lightly seasoned broth and the thickly seasoned egg, it’s easy to eat.

There is always a long line of people standing in front of the restaurant, Udama. The words “Udon”, “Daiji”, “Makana” and “Udon” are written on the curtain. The initials of the word are “udama”. In fact, it says “Udon daiji ni, nurturing, makanai sono” (We take good care of our udon and grow it.) on this noren.

Each of the three tori-ten comes with three different ingredients: curry, shiso and negi-salt, so you can enjoy the different flavors. The udon is served with grated radish and scallions, squeezed with sudachi, and topped with raw soy sauce. Be careful not to put too much raw soy sauce on it. The more you chew, the more the wheat aroma spreads in your mouth. It’s an unforgettable taste once you’ve had it.

Sakuratsuki Tagoto is a popular bar located on the first basement floor. At dinner time, it’s a popular restaurant with a wide selection of reasonable ates, but lunch doesn’t lose out either!

Karaage Mountain Set Lunch

The “Karaage Mountain Teishoku” (850 yen), served at Lunch Lime, is an amazing volume!　The plates don’t make it to the table and are served separately. As the name of the menu suggests, the fried food is heaped up like a mountain, and of the eight or so fried food items on the menu, one is curry-flavored. It’s like Russian roulette and it’s fun! The batter is crispy and you can enjoy the crunchy texture!

Kise Honten is a popular bar with five branches in total in the Osaka Ekimae Building, and during lunch from 10:45am to 3:00pm it specializes in tempura and is always packed to capacity.

Jo Tendon

The Jo-Tendon (630 yen) is filled with two prawns poking out of the bowl, a towering eggplant, pumpkin, okra, and nori (seaweed)!　And even miso soup is included in the service. The thin batter is crispy and light but healthy, and the sauce in the bowl is also light, so even women can eat it easily.

There is also a “chicken tempura set meal” (850 yen) with a large bowl of chicken tempura on top of it (630 yen), and a “chicken tempura rice bowl” (850 yen) with a free refill of rice to satisfy even the most frequent eater.
