Yomiuri Land will open an outdoor leisure pool, Pool WAI (Water Amusement Island), from Friday, July 1 to Sunday, September 11, 2022.
Yomiuri Land “Pool WAI” open for summer only
Yomiuri Land’s Pool WAI is one of the largest leisure pools in Tokyo, offering a tropical resort atmosphere. The area features five pools for children and adults alike, three types of slides, and a cafeteria where visitors can enjoy a relaxing meal.
Variety of pool areas
Pool highlights include the standard “Flowing Pool,” where visitors can float around in a float in the 250-meter-long pool, and the “Wave Pool,” which has a beach that resembles a sandy beach.
Anpanman and his friends will also be jacking up the area around the children’s pool in the “Soreike! Anpanman Pool” features a variety of fun-filled corners, including “Kabirun-Run-Run Valley Slip Platform,” “Baikin-jo no Taki Waterfall,” and “Kutan the Whale’s Fun Waterfall.
Thrilling” slides are also available.
For those who want to enjoy the pool in an active manner, we recommend the thrilling slides. In addition to the “Giant Sky River,” a 24.5-meter-high slide down which four people ride in rubber boats, there is also a “Slalom Slider” with its fascinating curve changes and a “Straight Line Slider,” a full-fledged slider that offers speed and thrills.
Illuminated and fantastic night pool
At night, “Pool WAI” opens as a night pool. With lights and illuminations, visitors can enjoy a liberating atmosphere as if they were visiting an overseas resort.
