The world’s first collaboration afternoon tea between Hotel W Osaka and Patou will be offered from July 1 (Friday) to September 30 (Friday), 2022.
Afternoon tea that expresses the world of “Patou”
Patou is a Paris-based fashion brand that creates real clothes based on French chic, and W Osaka will offer Patou Afternoon Tea, which incorporates the world view of Patou into its sweets.
Unique sweets such as “icon bag-shaped” mousse
The menu items that catch the eye include “Cassis and Tahitian Vanilla Mousse” in the shape of Patou’s iconic bag “Le Patou Bag” and “Passion Mango Tart Pecan Nut Praline” decorated with “edible earrings” in mini tarts, all inspired by iconic items representing the brand.
The “Patou” brand logo was placed on the beautiful yellow macaroons. The welcome cocktail, “Floral Splash,” was also served in a glass covered with coconut powder to express a delicate “lace collar.
Savory seasonal ingredients
The savory dishes that use a variety of ingredients that are in season during the summer are also noteworthy. The lineup includes a croque-monsieur of Hokkaido corn, a quiche lorraine made with bacon carefully prepared by the master chefs at Gourmet Road Yasuda, and a sumptuous lobster dish called “Sustainable Lobster and Mussels with Saffron-flavored Jus”. The lineup includes dishes that not only look beautiful, but also taste great.
